All petrol engines for the last twenty five years use fuel injectors to deliver the petrol into the engine in a manor which will meet the required emissions regulations.
As these regulations get tighter every few years to meet increasingly stringent exhaust emisson levels the qualitity of operation and delivery from the petrol injector has to increase.
No matter how much testing is done on the car the only way to be certain of the performance of the injectors is to remove them and test them on a professional injector test bench.
The ASNU system can test all petrol injectors from early mechanical 'K Jetronic' right up to the latest Piezo GDI units.
This is also true for marine applications (prone to water damage) and motorbikes.
Most petrol injectors can be stripped and serviced also using the ASNU system. There are internal filers and seals to be replaced.
These filters can become blocked from using chemical additives/cleaners in the fuel tank which 'flush' any contamination through the fuel filter and into the injectors.
A brief video to show the advantage to a visual petrol injector spray pattern check.
